Gary Jabara is the founder and chairman of the ioXt Alliance, the global standard for IoT security, backed by the biggest names in technology, manufacturing and retail. Under Jabara’s leadership, ioXt is recognized as the only industry-led, global IoT device security and certification program in the world.
Prior to ioXt, Jabara founded and served as Chairman of Mobilitie, the largest privately-held wireless infrastructure company in the U.S. Jabara previously served as partner at Deloitte Consulting and the firm’s partner-in-charge of wireless strategy and infrastructure. A passionate philanthropist, Jabara proudly supports a number of causes, including City of Hope, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Youth Employment Service (YES), Alzheimer’s Association, and Museum of Tolerance, among others.
MARCUS HODGES
Security Partner for Facebook
Marcus Hodges, a Security Partner at Facebook supporting AR/VR, is an accomplished security professional with over 14 years of experience building and breaking systems at every layer of the stack. Formerly the Director of Research and Principal Security Engineer at Security Innovation, Marcus designed and managed the development of a secure Linux distribution for the U.S. government and led research on advanced exploitation techniques, IoT, and hardware security. Marcus has spoken at security conferences on topics ranging from the security of HTML5 internals to the development of custom rootkits and has a comprehensive B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Washington.
AMIT AGRAWAL
Principal Security Architect for Amazon
Amit Agrawal is principal security architect for Amazon's Alexa Voice Services division. He heads the security and privacy team responsible for protecting Alexa enabled devices that includes cloud connected speakers, smart TVs, autos, hearable/wearables and smart home accessories.
Prior to joining Amazon, Amit worked at Intel as a security subject matter expert advising top companies in critical infrastructure, service providers, industrial, energy, retail and healthcare vertical markets. He led architecture, engineering teams and developed security technology for several SoC/chipsets.
DAVE KLEIDERMACHER
VP, Android Security & Privacy for Google
Dave Kleidermacher is vice president of Android security and privacy at Google. He heads the team that is responsible for protecting the Android ecosystem, which includes the Play Store and Pixel devices (phones by Google).
Prior to his role at Google, Dave held positions as SVP/chief security officer at Blackberry, chief technology officer at Integrity Global Security, and VP/chief technology officer at Green Hills Software. Dave is a frequent speaker and writer in the area of computer security. He delivered the 2014 Embedded World Conference Keynote, “Securing the Internet of Things” and is the author of Embedded Systems Security.
EUGENE LIDERMAN
Director, Android Security Strategy
Eugene Liderman is the Director of Android Security Strategy at Google. In this role, he leads efforts around android security evangelism, certifications, and other special programs. Eugene has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology field specifically around mobile security, directory services, and enterprise email. Prior to Google, Eugene was a Director of Product Management at VMware and Good Technology working on various mobile security product offerings.
NIKHIL DEULKAR
Head of Product Management, Alerton/Honeywell
Nikhil Deulkar has over 20 years of experience across silicon, hardware, software and SaaS products as well as direct, distribution and OEM-based businesses. Currently Nikhil heads Product Management and Applications Engineering teams for Alerton, Honeywell’s premium building automation system brand. His team is responsible for strategic planning and managing a portfolio of devices, software and services running HVAC systems in large commercial buildings such as hospitals, data centers, corporate campuses and government facilities. Prior to joining Honeywell, Nikhil was Director of Product Marketing at Impinj where he drove adoption of RAIN RFID based IoT connections for everyday items. Nikhil also spent 11 years at Intel in Software Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Product Management roles serving data center, enterprise, gaming and consumer markets.
MICHAEL DOW
Senior Product Manager- IoT Security at Silicon Labs
Mike Dow has worked in the semiconductor industry for Motorola, Freescale, NXP, and now Silicon Labs for the past 25 years. He has a Professional Engineering License in the state of Texas. He has extensive experience driving and participating in wireless standards organizations such as IEEE and ISA and helped form the Wireless Industrial Technology Consortium (WiTECK) where he filled the position of Chair and President from 2007-2009. He has worked for the last 11 years in the roles of Business Development, New Product Development, and Marketing where he specializes in Security, Connectivity, IoT, Industrial IoT, Point of Sale, and Smart Energy verticals.
DAVID KAUFMAN
Director, Business Development for Resideo Technologies, Inc.
David Kaufman is director of business development for Resideo Technologies, Inc. and the company’s primary representative for any IoT-related standard or alliance. He brings to the ioXt board more than 30 years of experience holding various executive sales and marketing roles consistently achieving organic business growth totally over $500M. The holder of multiple U.S. patents, he is a published author on wireless technologies. He has held key positions in the Wireless Industrial Network Alliance, the HART Communications Foundation, and the Open Connectivity Foundation. He was a charter board member of the Wireless Compliance Institute, the Energy Information Standards Alliance, and the OpenADR Alliance. David currently sits on the board for the Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA). He has been recognized with numerous awards for his industry contributions including two awards from the U.S. National Institute of Technology (NIST).
DARREN KRESS
Sr. Director, Cyber Defense for T-Mobile
Darren Kress is a veteran of information security with 27 years of experience leading efforts to secure critical infrastructure for Fortune 100 companies and the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). Over the past 10 years, Darren has led nearly every aspect of cybersecurity at T-Mobile. Currently, he leads telecommunications infrastructure security.
As a recently retired U.S. Air Force cyber warfare officer, Darren’s background also includes commanding numerous cyberspace missions. He was a key contributor to the development of the DoD’s future concept of cyber operations protecting the nation’s critical infrastructure.
ASAD HAQUE
Sr. Director, Security Architecture for Comcast
Asad Haque has over 25 years of progressive responsibilities in information security specializing in scale security for APIs, IoT devices, and embedded systems. He has designed blockchainbased decentralized and autonomous authentication and authorization for constrained devices.
Prior to joining Comcast, Asad pioneered managed security services for Netrex Secure Solutions, including firewall in the cloud architecture, and managed Intrusion Prevention Service. He possesses extensive hands-on experience as a chief application and network architect, including experience in systems management, information security, software development, large secure network (TCP/IP) design and deployment, departmental oversight, and management.

Dale Roberts has over 20 years of information technology experience providing leadership and delivering IT solutions that resolve business problems. His primary areas of expertise are IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, vendor management, business continuity/disaster recovery, and IT project management. Prior to joining Legrand, Dale worked for AT&T and SunTrust Banks. He also spent many years providing IT consulting services to companies such as Coca-Cola, Aflac, Chick-Fil-A, Home Depot, and E*Trade. For the past few years, Dale has specialized in cybersecurity and ISO 27001.
DANA TARDELLI
Chief Operations Officer for Mobilitie
Accomplished business executive in the IoT and wireless industries, Dana has more than 20 years’ experience in Strategy, Business Development, Operations, Pricing, Finance, and Distribution in high tech sectors. Dana is the COO of Mobilitie where he works to accelerate the expansion and densification of wireless networks through the design and deployment of Small Cells, Towers, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), and Wi-Fi networks. Dana is also COO of ioXt where he works to drive adoption of the global IoT security standard.
