ioXt Self-Certification
IoT manufacturers and developers enter product information directly into the ioXt SmartCert certification portal to measure against the ioXt SmartCert standards, while independent researchers validate the submission.
ioXt Authorized Lab Certification
IoT manufacturers and developers seeking more sophisticated testing and the validation of a third-party expert can have an ioXt Authorized Lab perform the test plan and certify the results.
Certification
Achievement: A device or app achieves annual certification and the ioXt SmartCert after it has met the minimum requirements.
Subscription: Unlike traditional programs, which conduct single tests before production and never revisit product security, ioXt SmartCert certification is a living, continuous process where the certification status is reevaluated as new device or app versions are released.
